5. Rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records held or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions

There are various rules and regulations followed by the different Departments in the discharge of their duties. ITPO is the nodal agency designated by the Department of Commerce for approval of all trade fairs organized by Indian companies both in India and abroad.

Rules and regulations have also been framed for membership of ITPO whether Regular or Associate Member as also for participation in various trade fairs & exhibitions and other developmental programmes organized by it in India and abroad.
